Previewing and predicting

H guys, maybe some of you already know what preview and predicting are, but it's possible for some people to hear this word for the first time.

So there are two skills that are essential for a good reader, preview and prediction. When you gather information about a book by examining its cover, you are previewing it. The purpose of the preview is to help you predict or make some educated guesses about what's in the book.

In this material, we were given a quiz, there were 8 exercises that we did, in the first exercise we were asked to collect podcasts and then do a quiz.

This time I had a little trouble with the time given, only a few seconds but this did not make me give up and answered correctly to the best of my ability.

Thanks for reading my blog, see you next week!

Interpretative reading

H welcome back after a long time!  I didn't appear on my blog but don't worry, today I'm back with a different and certainly more interesting story it doesn't take long let's get straight to the point.   Before I tell you about my activities i will first ask you, what is interpretaive reading, Judging from the titl this course teaches us to be more careful in reading and analyzing our readings, so today on September 16 at 19. 00 i will tell you about my daily life after learning interpretaive reading.    This year is a little different from last year, usually we use syam-ok but this time we use the Teams app which is part of Microsoft 365 and of course it's better than syam-ok "that's my opinion" at 07.30 Our course starts after a few minutes  we were told to answer quizzes and given the task of finding and reading books for a month to be made into podcasts.  When asked about reading, maybe I'm used to it but it's my first time doing podcas...

Topics of paragraphs

H welcome back with me, in this meeting discussing the topic of paragraphs, before entering the quiz there is an explanation given along with examples of paragraphs in the form of a pdf file, after reading and understanding then you can work on the next quiz.   In this quiz, we are given 2 groups of sentences that look like paragraphs and then determine whether they are paragraphs or not? in exercise (6.2A exercise 2 & 6.2B exercise 3), we are directed to read a paragraph and determine the most correct topic, neither specific nor general.  The next quiz is Finding the topic sentence, in this quiz, we look for the most correct topic and underline the topic of our answer, after that we compare our answers with our classmates whether they are correct or not. Maybe this is from me see you next week with a different story, of course. Thank you.

The main ideas

As I promised I will come back with a different story  Today we started the meeting at around 10.00 am, the material discussed was about what paragraphs are, the differences between text and paragraphs, syllables and consonants. We were made a discussion room, each consisting of four people.  All groups were asked to find the mean ideas from a paragraph and then presented them according to the group. The problem is quite challenging why do I say that ? because it sounds easy to do but on the other hand the problem is a little difficult, in the first question my group's answer is correct but on the second and third questions our answers are wrong.  I hope it doesn't happen like this again in the future.  Maybe this is what I can share with you guys, thank you for taking the time to read my blog.
